Most people arrive not knowing what to do. That is not a failure of any kind. It is an honest place to be standing. We begin there.

I work with the runes as living forces rather than symbols to be decoded, and my relationship with Odin is part of that practice. I do not approach a reading intending to produce a particular answer. I cast, I observe, I listen, and I tell you as plainly as I can what I understand to be showing itself, including when it is not what you hoped to hear.
There are also limits to what I can see. Sometimes a reading does not open in the way we expect. Sometimes something appears withheld. And sometimes the most truthful thing I can tell you is that I do not know.
I will not manufacture certainty where I have not been given it.
What I see, I will tell you. What you do with it remains yours.

People have been casting lots and reading signs for as long as there have been people. The impulse is far older than any of the systems built to carry it, which suggests the impulse is the real thing, and the systems are only the ways we have found to hold it.
